Naik Mukesh Singh Manhas, a dedicated soldier from Samba, Jammu and Kashmir, met a tragic end in an IED blast near the Line of Control. Having recently returned to his unit in Akhnoor after his ring ceremony, Manhas was known for his love of cricket and community spirit.

His father, Chagatar Singh, retired police personnel, highlighted his son's commitment to serving the nation since joining the Army at a young age. Unfortunately, his nuptial plans for April are now replaced by a village mourning the loss of an inspiring and energetic personality.

Villagers and relatives gathered to pay their respects, remembering Manhas for his efforts to engage youths in sports. The Army plans to conduct his funeral with full military honors, paying tribute to a life dedicated to duty and service.
