Founded by Gursakhi Lugani, NakhreWaali excels in artisanal jewellery and commands 70% of the market, extending to 11 international markets.

NakhreWaali, a distinguished name in the handcrafted accessory world, has been acquired by TAMASQ, a player in sustainable fashion with an emphasis on handcrafted Indian fashion. This strategic move aims to combine the strengths of both brands, exploring new avenues for sustainable growth while honoring their shared ethos in artisanal craftsmanship.
Founded by Gursakhi Lugani, who invested her personal savings, NakhreWaali set a benchmark by pioneering premium handcrafted fashion jewellery in India. The brand secured over 70% market share without external funding, supported by a network of 150+ artisans, and now operates in 11 international markets including the USA and Italy, preserving traditional craftsmanship.
For TAMASQ, acquiring NakhreWaali represents strategic growth into accessories, complementing its D2C fashion line, Mogra Designs. The acquisition aligns with India's ethical fashion trend, enjoying a 45% YoY growth. TAMASQ aims to expand NakhreWaali's reach, preserving its artisanal traditions while broadening its global recognition through capital infusion and resource sharing.
