Bharat Tex 2025: A Global Textile Extravaganza

Bharat Tex 2025, organized by the Apparel Export Promotion Council, is a global textile event in India, featuring over 110 countries. The expo, held from February 14-17, showcases sustainable innovations across the textile value chain. The presence of global brands strengthens India's textile market positioning.

The Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC) announced on Saturday that more than 110 countries, such as Japan, UAE, Iran, USA, Spain, and the UK, are participating in Bharat Tex 2025. This global textile event takes place from February 14-17 at Bharat Mandapam.

According to AEPC Chairman Sudhir Sekhri, numerous global brands and retail chains have flocked to the fair. Japan leads in apparel buyers, followed by UAE, Iran, the USA, Spain, UK, South Africa, Russia, and Australia. The strong international presence underscores India's stance as a reliable partner in the global textile market.

Inaugurated by Minister of Textiles Giriraj Singh, the event boasts a mega expo across two venues, covering the entire textile ecosystem. Key figures such as Minister of State for Textiles Pabitra Margherita were also present. Sekhri highlighted the showcase of sustainable innovations, including organic fabrics and energy-efficient production technologies.
