This significant event, slated to begin on February 23, is organized by the Sanghakaya Foundation in collaboration with the Gujarat Tourism Department.
The five-day conference aims to spotlight Gujarat's rich Buddhist heritage and elevate its status as a crucial part of the international Buddhist circuit. A key event will be the International Peace Walk from the Dr. Ambedkar Statue near the Vidhan Sabha to the Town Hall, promoting messages of peace and harmony.
The agenda includes visits to significant Buddhist sites in Gujarat, such as Vadnagar, Dev Ni Mori, Junagadh, Vadodara, and Gandhinagar, concluding with a trip to the Statue of Unity. The conference has expanded since its first edition at Town Hall, Gandhinagar, highlighting the enduring importance of Buddhist traditions in the region.
