UAE Minister Joins Kerala's 'Year of Community Run'

UAE Minister of Economy, Abdulla Bin Touq Al Marri, participated in Kerala's 'Year of Community Run' as part of the Kannur Beach Run. The event celebrated UAE's 'Year of Community' 2025, highlighting themes of community service and cultural ties between UAE and India.

The United Arab Emirates' (UAE) Minister of Economy, Abdulla Bin Touq Al Marri, took part in the 'Year of Community Run' on Sunday, part of the eighth Kannur Beach Run.

Al Marri participated alongside elite athletes and fitness enthusiasts while visiting Kerala for the Invest Kerala Global Summit, which concluded on Saturday. The event was a tribute to the UAE’s 'Year of Community' 2025, spearheaded by UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, promoting community service and volunteering.

Organized with the North Malabar Chamber of Commerce and VPS Healthcare, the run highlighted the deep cultural and community ties between the UAE and India, as one million Keralites live in the UAE. The event also emphasized unity and shared responsibility among expatriates.
