Speaking on the green carpet at the IIFA Awards 2025 in Jaipur, Ahlawat emphasized that the series' enduring appeal stems from the collaborative efforts led by creator Sudip Sharma and director Avinash Arun Dhaware. "When so many people put in so much effort," he stated, "it clicks."

The new season, streaming on Prime Video, follows Chaudhary and his junior, Imran Ansari, as they unravel the murder of a Nagaland politician in Delhi. Fans can also anticipate Ahlawat in the upcoming Netflix film "Jewel Thief - The Heist Begins," alongside Saif Ali Khan.
