In an effort to boost tourism and improve visitor experience, display kiosks are being installed at key locations throughout Ayodhya, including railway stations and airports. These kiosks aim to provide real-time information about prominent religious sites such as Ram Mandir and Hanumangarhi, according to officials.
Managed by Shri Ayodhya Ji Tirtha Vikas Parishad, the project involves installing kiosks that will offer guidance to both pilgrims and tourists. The kiosks will not only focus on directional assistance but will also provide information on the historical, cultural, and tourism aspects, ensuring seamless connectivity and updates.
Each kiosk, costing around Rs 2.5 lakh, will feature touch-screen interfaces and may include voice command functionality and QR code scanners for easy accessibility via mobile devices. With added internet connectivity and security measures, these kiosks promise uninterrupted service, aligning with the overall goal of enhancing the city's appeal as a tourist destination.
