Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has called on citizens to celebrate Holi with harmony, underscoring the importance of following the time-honored traditions of Sanatan Dharma. During the Bhakt Prahlad Shobha Yatra, Adityanath highlighted how Holika Dahan should symbolize the elimination of ego and negative tendencies.

Amid tensions due to the overlap of Holi and Friday prayers in some areas, the Chief Minister stressed mutual respect during celebrations. He pointed to the successful Prayagraj Maha Kumbh event, which attracted 66 crore devotees globally, as a demonstration of Sanatan Dharma's unifying power.

Adityanath urged citizens to revive traditional Holi songs, encouraging the formation of community groups to promote this cultural heritage. His call came as he participated in 'aarti' and played Holi with flower petals, bringing festive cheer to attendees as the Shobha Yatra advanced through the city.
