Satish Salian, father of the late Disha Salian, made an impassioned appeal for justice on Thursday, urging narco tests for all accused, including Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray and actors Sooraj Pancholi and Dino Morea. He emphasized needing protection for himself and his legal team amid the ongoing inquiry into his daughter's death.
Addressing ANI, Satish expressed frustration at the previous government's inaction and underscored his determination to pursue justice. Despite the announcement of an SIT, he felt compelled to seek court intervention. He remains steadfast in his belief in the judiciary, vowing to see the case through.
Advocate Nilesh C Ojha, representing Salian, urged the official registration of the complaint, which has stagnated for 15 months, and called for police protection for all involved. Both Ojha and Salian highlight the urgency of reconstructing the crime scene to uncover pivotal details, as several accused face allegations of gang rape, murder, and cover-up.
