Toy Story 4 likely to show Bo Peep having rough times

Toy Story 4 is just a few months away from its official premiere. As we are getting closer to its release, new updates are popping up and we have already seen some of our favourite characters like Woody, Ham, Jesse, Slinky, Mr and Mrs Potato including of the little green men from Pizza Planet in the trailer. Even there are some of the characters that are yet to be revealed and will be introduced.

Unfortunately, since Toy Story 4 was announced way back in 2014, lots of ups and downs have been observed, most notably the exit of John Lasseter, original co-director of the series due to the alleged sexual misconduct. It has already been over four years since the announcement and delay is mainly caused because Pixar had thrown away most of the script to start afresh.

When Toy Story 4 was initially declared, a romantic tale between Woody and Bo Peep was teased and fans were highly excited to see it in the 3D computer-animated comedy film. Voiced by Annie Potts in both Toy Story and Toy Story 2, Bo Peep was missing in Toy Story 3 like other characters Etch, Wheezy and RC who were only seen in flashbacks. The script had both Woody and Buzz leaving Bonnie's bedroom to hunt down the missing character. This was the time when Will McCormack and Rashida Jones were writing the screenplay but then they abandoned the project due to the alleged sexual misconduct of John Lasseter at the workplace.

The upcoming movie will surely be a romantic comedy, but as far as everyone's favourite Bo Peep is concerned, she is likely to appear in the series going through some rough times. She is also likely to have a new look in the movie cladded in a blue outfit. On the other hand, John Wick 3's hero Keanu Reeves will voice for an unnamed character in the much-awaited movie and it (that new character) will have an interesting relationship with Lightyear.
