The funeral of Sunjay J Kapur, a renowned industrialist, will be held in Delhi after he tragically passed away at 53. Kapur suffered a heart attack during a polo match in the UK, with his final rites set for Thursday at Lodhi Road Cremation Ground.

Kapur, a key player in the automotive industry and the Chairman of Sona Comstar, reportedly experienced cardiac arrest on the field. According to Suhel Seth, a family friend and actor, a bee sting might have triggered the incident. The news was confirmed on social media platform X, where Seth expressed condolences.

The late Kapur, remembered for his dual passion for business and polo, leaves behind his wife Priya Kapur and children Samaira, Kiaan, Safira, and Azarias. His former spouse, actor Karisma Kapoor, along with their children, was seen heading to Delhi. A prayer meeting is organized for June 22 at the Taj Palace Hotel.
