Farewell to an Icon: The Final Journey of 'Dishom Guru' Shibu Soren

Veteran tribal leader and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha patriarch Shibu Soren passed away at 81, leading to an outpouring of grief. As his body arrived in Ranchi, thousands paid their respects. Prominent leaders accompanied the remains to his residence. Last rites will be conducted in his native village.

The mortal remains of Shibu Soren, a revered tribal leader and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) founder, arrived in Ranchi to a massive gathering of mourners paying tribute to the man fondly known as 'Dishom Guru'.

Chief Minister Hemant Soren, along with his wife and brother, were among those accompanying the body from Delhi, after Soren succumbed to kidney-related complications at 81.

The streets were lined with admirers and political figures as the cortege moved towards Soren's residence, with plans to honor him with a funeral in his home village of Nemra.
