Aryan Mann Leads DUSU Race: ABVP's Strong Showing

Aryan Mann from the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) is making headlines in the Delhi University Students' Union (DUSU) elections. According to the latest trends, Mann is ahead of rival Joslyn Nandita Choudhary from the National Students' Union of India (NSUI) by a margin exceeding 9,800 votes for the prestigious president's position.

Notably, the NSUI is currently leading for the vice president's post, garnering more than 5,300 votes against the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS)-backed ABVP candidates. However, ABVP continues to have an edge in the contests for secretary and joint secretary positions.

Counting of votes began Friday morning, and officials report that 14 of the anticipated 21 to 22 rounds have been completed. This year, voter turnout was recorded at 39.45 percent, showing a slight uptick from last year's 35 percent participation rate.
