Speaking with ANI, Raza Murad expressed, 'With Asrani Sahab's departure, an era has ended. His versatility was unparalleled, spanning six decades. Few matched his ability to excel in comic, villainous, and serious roles. His contributions as an actor and entertainer remain unmatched.'
Reflecting on their shared history, Murad detailed a mentorship bond that began at the Film and Television Institute of India. 'We shared a guru-disciple relationship, later co-starring and working under his direction in films such as Dil Hi To Hai. Asrani lived to entertain, making every role memorable,' he remarked.
