Delhi Minister Kapil Mishra revealed plans for Chhath Puja preparations across the city, identifying over 1,000 sites for the celebrations. The announcement came during a review meeting focused on assessing readiness for the festival, which is a cornerstone of Delhi's cultural landscape.

This year, special preparations are underway at the Yamuna River ghats to reinvigorate enthusiasm among devotees. In addition, major festivities are slated for areas like Dwarka, Hathi Ghat, Pitampura, and Sonia Vihar, coupled with cultural programs by local artists at over 200 locations to celebrate Purvanchali traditions.

As part of the organizational efforts, a single-window clearance system has been introduced, echoing successful models from previous festivals like Kanwar Yatra and Durga Puja. Safety and cleanliness are focal points, with mobile toilets, ambulances, and fire safety measures set to ensure a smooth celebration.
