Governor Gurmit Singh's Divine Visit to Badrinath Dham
Uttarakhand Governor Gurmit Singh visited Badrinath Dham in Chamoli. Welcomed by local officials, he reviewed the ongoing development projects. Uttarakhand Governor Lt Gen (retd) Gurmit Singh made an official visit to Badrinath Dham in Chamoli district on Tuesday. Upon arrival at the Badrinath helipad, Singh was warmly received by Chamoli District Magistrate Gaurav Kumar and Superintendent of Police Sarvesh Panwar. Following a ceremonial guard of honor, the governor proceeded to the temple by car.
During his visit, Governor Singh evaluated the ongoing developments at the site, including the master plan for the Dham, and expressed his satisfaction with the advancements at the Civic Amenity and Community Centers, Arrival Plaza, and hospital facilities. He also provided directives for maintaining cleanliness of the Shesh Netra and Badrish lakes and ensuring adequate lighting along the Aastha Path.
Reflecting on the experience, Singh labeled it as exceedingly divine and stressed the area's potential in driving India towards self-reliance and global leadership. He admired the effective cooperation between administrative officials and the temple committee and encouraged people worldwide to come and benefit from the Dham's spiritual offerings.
