Tragedy at Chhath Puja: Teen Drowns, Another Missing

A 17-year-old boy tragically drowned, and another teenager remains missing following Chhath Puja festivities in Vindhyachal. The incident unfolded when a group of five ventured to bathe in the Ganga River at Nifra village.
Swift action by a local boatman helped save three individuals, identified as Shivam Pandey, Shivam Sharma, and Som Pandey, from drowning. Despite rescue efforts, 17-year-old Anurag Saroj's lifeless body was later recovered.
Meanwhile, the search continues for Om Pandey, 16, as police intensify efforts to locate the missing boy amid the ongoing celebrations.
