In a tragic development, Marathi actor Sachin Chandwade, who gained popularity with his appearance in the Hindi OTT series 'Jamtara 2', is said to have died by suicide, police revealed on Tuesday.

The young actor, 25, was found hanging in his home in Undirkheda village, Parola area of Maharashtra's Jalgaon district, on the evening of October 23. Despite efforts by his family, who rushed him to a private hospital in Dhule, Chandwade's condition worsened, leading to his demise in the early hours of October 24. Authorities have yet to determine the reason for this drastic step.

Just days before this event, Chandwade shared promotional material for his upcoming Marathi film 'Asurvan' on social media. Parola police registered an accidental death case, which has since been transferred to the Dhule police for a more in-depth investigation. Apart from acting, Chandwade was also an IT professional employed in Pune.
