In an artistic union, Victoria Memorial Hall and the Consulate General of Italy in Kolkata are set to host 'Una Serata Fiorentina: Alta Moda Multi-Genre Showcase I MEDICI' on November 17, 2025. Designed by Rohan Pariyar, the event is a tribute to the grandeur of Renaissance Italy.

The collection, inspired by 15th and 16th-century Italian aesthetics, reimagines historical palettes and silhouettes. It consists of 40 handcrafted ensembles that honor the influential women of the Medici dynasty, integrating Kolkata's local craftsmanship in its exquisite embroidery.

Beyond couture, the event orchestrates a 45-minute immersive experience in the historic Victoria Memorial Hall, merging fashion with music and dance. This collaboration emphasizes a rich cultural dialogue between Italy and India, celebrating shared heritage and contemporary artistic expression.
