Following the death of iconic founder Giorgio Armani, the prestigious Italian fashion house has unveiled a new board to shepherd the company through a pivotal transition. The restructured leadership team is seen as essential to maintaining Armani's storied legacy.

Appointed by the Armani Foundation and designer's heirs, the board comprises eight seasoned members. Key figures include former Armani executive John Hooks, ex-Gucci CEO Marco Bizzarri, and new CEO Giuseppe Marsocci. Additionally, Armani's niece Silvana and nephew Andrea Camerana join the reins as the family continues to play an active role.

In alignment with Armani's wishes, a 15% minority stake of the company will be sold, focusing on potential partnerships with Essilor-Luxottica, LVMH, or L'Oreal. Chairman Leo Dell'Orco emphasized that the modernized board will uphold and advance the timeless values that Armani cultivated over half a century.
