The Bhagavad Gita remains an unparalleled scripture with its teachings of peace and duty, according to Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, who spoke at the Sant Sammelan during the International Gita Jayanti Mahotsav. Khattar highlighted the Gita's timeless relevance in public life and urged for broader dissemination of its wisdom.

Held at Purushottampura Bagh near Brahmasarovar, the event saw participation from saints and spiritual luminaries, including Swami Gyananand Maharaj. Prominent political figures like Uttarakhand's Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and Madhya Pradesh's Culture Minister Dharmendra Singh Lodhi also attended the occasion.

Khattar, addressing the gathering, noted that Haryana has institutionalized Gita Mahotsavs across districts to spread these universal teachings. He emphasized that the Gita offers strength, decision-making clarity, and guidance toward righteous conduct, urging its principles to reach beyond Kurukshetra across the globe.
