Tragedy Strikes: Death of a Champion Bodybuilder
Rohit Dhankar, a 26-year-old professional bodybuilder from Haryana, tragically died after being beaten with hockey sticks and rods. The incident occurred following a dispute over a selfie at a wedding. Four individuals have been detained as police investigate the assault that led to Dhankar's death.

In a tragic incident, Rohit Dhankar, a 26-year-old professional bodybuilder from Haryana, was allegedly beaten to death after a dispute at a wedding. Authorities reported the assault happened last Friday night in Bhiwani, leaving the district in shock.
Dhankar, who was attending the wedding with a friend, became involved in an altercation after they pointed out inappropriate behavior by a group of men. According to witnesses, these men later ambushed Dhankar at a railway crossing, beating him viciously with hockey sticks and rods.
The bodybuilder succumbed to his injuries the following day in a hospital in Rohtak. Police have detained four suspects and are investigating to apprehend additional assailants. Dhankar was highly regarded in the bodybuilding community, having won numerous national and state-level medals, and was previously honored by former Haryana chief minister, Manohar Lal Khattar.
