Roof Collapse at Himachal Wedding Leaves Many Injured

A roof collapse at a wedding in Chamba district, Himachal Pradesh, resulted in around 40 minor injuries. Taking place in Jungra village, the incident happened during a marriage function due to excessive weight on a makeshift structure. Injured individuals were hospitalized for treatment.

Around 40 individuals were injured due to the collapse of a makeshift roof during a wedding ceremony in Chamba district, Himachal Pradesh, on Saturday, according to official reports.

The tragic event unfolded in Jungra village, Churah tehsil, when guests seated on the roof caused it to give way under excessive weight.

Among the injured, four people are in critical condition and have been taken to a nearby hospital in Tissa for urgent medical attention, authorities confirmed.
