Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has laid the foundation for multiple development projects in Dombivli. He acknowledged the efforts of his son, MP Dr. Shrikant Shinde, for diligently following up on these initiatives.
The projects, which include the Prerna War Memorial, Sant Savalaram Maharaj Mhatre Sports Complex, and Savitribai Phule Theatre renovation, received significant government funding, as confirmed by Shinde, who emphasized their strategic importance to the Kalyan-Dombivli region.
Amid development talks, underlying political tensions surfaced, especially as State BJP President Ravindra Chavan attended the event. Last month, internal strife between the Shinde-led Shiv Sena and its ally, the BJP, unfolded when Chavan integrated Sena members into the BJP.
