An immense gathering took place at Brigade Parade Ground in Kolkata, where thousands gathered to participate in a massive Bhagavad Gita recital on Sunday. The event, dubbed 'Panch Lakkho Konthe Gita Path,' was organized by the Sanatan Sanskriti Sansad, represented by monks and spiritual leaders from various Hindu monasteries.

The vibrant scene saw participants brandishing saffron religious flags as they entered the venue early in the morning, many holding copies of the Gita. The day-long event began with cultural performances, setting an enchanting tone for the spiritual recitation.

Swami Gyananandaji Maharaj of the Geeta Manishi Mahamandal led the recital, featuring renowned personalities like yoga guru Baba Ramdev as special guests. Organizers hope the event showcases West Bengal's profound spiritual heritage and aids in fostering social harmony.
