The Lord Ayyappa Temple has introduced increased enforcement of its virtual queue system to regulate the influx of pilgrims during the annual season at the hill shrine.
Sannidhanam Additional District Magistrate, Arun S Nair, announced the decision on Monday after a high-level review meeting at the temple's conference hall.
Authorities advise elderly devotees and those with walking difficulties to use the Nilakkal-Pampa route. Emergency response teams are prepared for any incidents, ensuring a safe pilgrimage experience.
