The air at Baansera Park in New Delhi was filled with enthusiasm as the 10th edition of Jashn-e-Rekhta came alive with poetry and passion. The festival set the stage for the launch of Neelima Dalmia Adhar's memoir, 'Abba Aur Main: Ek Anokhi Dastan,' to an eager audience.
The book, a translation of 'Father Dearest: Life and Times of R K Dalmia,' was unveiled by Sundeep Bhutoria and Huma Khalil. It offers a unique look into the life of one of India's major industrialists and his notable friendship with Qaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah, which aimed to influence historical events in India.
The three-day Jashn-e-Rekhta festival, celebrating Urdu's multifaceted beauty, became a convergence of over 200 artists, poets, and writers. Highlights included tributes to Sahir Ludhianvi and engaging cultural performances, making it a landmark event in promoting Urdu across generations.
