The revered Godavari Pushkarams, akin to the famed Kumbh Mela, is slated to begin on June 26, 2027, in Andhra Pradesh and will span 12 days.
M Hari Jawaharlal, a former official from the Revenue (Endowments-II) Department, disclosed that the state government sought and heeded the advice of T Venkata Krishna Purna Prasad, a distinguished priest from Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, to finalize the event dates.
Following meticulous deliberation, the government confirmed that the pilgrimage along the Godavari River will proceed from June 26 to July 7, 2027. The Endowments Commissioner also collaborated with the TTD priest to ensure the successful timing of this grand religious event.
