Authored by Chitwan Mittal and visually brought to life by illustrator Asuma Noor, 'Adi and Arya Visit Delhi' and 'Adi and Arya Visit Kolkata' invite children to discover the rich cultural heritage of India through engaging narratives and vibrant illustrations.
In 'Adi and Arya Visit Delhi', readers join the young duo as they navigate the bustling streets, sample traditional parathas, and explore historic sites, all depicted with lively artwork reflecting the city's dynamic culture. Meanwhile, 'Adi and Arya Visit Kolkata' offers an adventure through the city's trams, a boat ride on the Hooghly River, and tastings of local delicacies, with imagery that highlights Kolkata's distinctive architecture and festive spirit.
According to illustrator Asuma Noor, the project has been a gratifying experience, capturing each city's unique features while staying faithful to Mittal's creative vision. The series aims to expand, inviting young readers to embark on adventures across various vibrant Indian cities. Both books are available for purchase online and offline for Rs 499 each.
