Three individuals were apprehended on Wednesday for allegedly vandalizing a Lord Hanuman idol at a local village temple, according to police reports.
The incident reportedly took place late Monday night in Pilkhatra village, located in the Jalesar area, as police have stated.
Following a complaint filed by the village head, Sajjanpal, a case was registered, and an investigation commenced, officials noted. Station House Officer Amit Kumar disclosed the accused as Jitendra, Narayan alias Uma, and Bhure alias Ghure.
Initial findings indicated that the vandalism resulted from a domestic dispute, not a communal issue, noted the SHO, assuring that peace and order have returned to the village.
