Amidst the bustling Maharashtra civic elections, notable Bollywood figures turned up at polling booths to cast their votes on Thursday.

Among them was superstar Aamir Khan's ex-wife, Reena Dutta, accompanied by their children, Junaid and Ira Khan. The family posed for photos, proudly displaying their inked fingers, a symbol of their civic duty.

Adding star power to the event, actor Akshay Kumar, alongside other luminaries like Nana Patekar and Twinkle Khanna, made early appearances at polling stations, addressing the importance of democratic participation. Polls across 29 municipal corporations, with results set for Friday, see the BJP and Shiv Sena vying under the Mahayuti banner, while the NCP contests independently in several areas.
