Assam's Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has refrained from commenting on the legal proceedings in Singapore concerning the death of esteemed singer-composer Zubeen Garg. His wife, Garima Saikia Garg, has taken to social media to express her resolve for uncovering the truth behind this tragic incident.
In a Facebook post, Garima pledged full support for the investigations, urging the Indian government to closely monitor the proceedings in Singapore. Zubeen Garg, who died while attending the North East India Festival, was reported by Singapore Police to have been severely intoxicated before drowning off Lazarus Island.
Despite no foul play being suspected, the case has prompted investigations by Assam's CID, leading to multiple arrests.
