Hosabale pointed out the ongoing efforts to distort India's identity through manipulated interpretations, dubbed 'mantra viplav' or ideological confusion. According to him, this confusion, rooted deep within narratives like those created by European scholars, has been a longstanding agenda aimed at reshaping the nation's historical and cultural understanding.

Referencing the Mahabharata, Hosabale discussed the consequences of such ideological chaos, emphasizing the need for incorporating genuine Indian civilizational knowledge into educational systems. He acknowledged the role of the new education policy in reviving this rich heritage among students.
