Centuries-Old Festival 'Prabala Teerdham' Gains State Recognition
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu greeted the public on Prabala Teerdham, a centuries-old festival in Konaseema, now recognized as a state festival. Known for gathering religious artefacts from 11 Shiva temples, it sees massive participation and state support, impacting around 500,000 devotees.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Friday extended his heartfelt greetings to the people on the revered occasion of 'Prabala Teerdham', celebrated in the Dr BR Ambedkar Konaseema district.
This spiritual festival, held annually on Kanuma day during Sankranti at Jaganna Thota village, has been a tradition for more than 400 years. It draws devotees from various regions due to its deep cultural significance.
Recognized as a state festival, the government will facilitate arrangements for devotees, impacting around 500,000 attendees who witness the coming together of Prabalu representing the Ekadasha Rudras from 11 ancient Shiva temples.
