Controversies Surround Salman Khan's Upcoming Film on Galwan Clash

Salman Khan's film, ''Battle of Galwan,'' depicting the 2020 clash between Indian and Chinese troops, has stirred discussions. The Ministry of External Affairs clarified they are not involved in film-making, deferring queries to relevant bodies. Salman Khan is once again making headlines with the upcoming release of ''Battle of Galwan,'' a film chronicling the 2020 confrontation between Indian and Chinese forces in the Galwan Valley. Despite speculations, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has stated that they have no involvement in such cinematic ventures.

At a recent media briefing, MEA Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal addressed concerns over reported objections regarding the film's depiction of the clash. He reiterated that film-making in India is regulated by relevant authorities, not the MEA.

Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the film portrays the valor of Bikkumalla Santosh Babu, played by Salman Khan, who was honored posthumously with the Maha Vir Chakra for his bravery during the battle.
