Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to participate in the National Cadet Corps' PM Rally at Delhi Cantonment this Wednesday. This event will signify the conclusion of the month-long annual NCC Republic Day Camp, with activities celebrating discipline and commitment among the youth.
The rally, themed 'Rashtra Pratham - Kartavya Nishth Yuva', is expected to highlight the ideals of duty and national service among India's youth. The occasion marks the culmination of an initiative formally inaugurated by Vice President C P Radhakrishnan on January 5. This year, 2,406 cadets, including 898 females, from across the nation, along with over 200 participants from 20 friendly foreign countries, are partaking in this prestigious event.
The celebration features various competitions and cultural programs showcasing cadets' talents in nation-building and social service. Notably, a ceremonial parade at the Kartavya Path highlighted the event, featuring an all-female and all-male marching contingent, along with NCC leaders equipped with ceremonial swords alongside military contingents.
