Mohan Charan Majhi Bolsters Rayagada Development with Rs 600 Crore Projects

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi initiated a development drive in Rayagada with projects valued at Rs 600 crore. The announcement came during the 'Subhadra Shakti Mela,' where Majhi emphasized that 80% of jobs in new industries would be earmarked for local youth.
The Chief Minister inaugurated 22 projects worth Rs 238 crore and laid the foundation stones for 87 others amounting to over Rs 366 crore. These initiatives encompass infrastructure enhancements in roads, bridges, healthcare, schools, and empowerment programs for women. Efforts to improve the Maa Majighariani Temple were also highlighted.
Industrial expansion in Rayagada is set to receive a boost with investments from Hindalco and others. Additionally, the proposal for a medical college is under government review, aiming to bolster education and health services in the district.
