Punjabi Celebrity Faces 10 Crore Extortion Threat

Punjabi actress Himanshi Khurana has lodged a report with the Mohali police after receiving an alarming extortion threat of Rs 10 crore from an alleged foreign-based gangster, officials confirm. As a result of her complaint, a formal FIR has been registered.

The threat was delivered via an email containing a voice note, reportedly from the gangster, demanding the sizable sum. Superintendent of Police (Investigation), Saurav Jindal, confirmed the details, emphasizing that prompt investigative measures are underway to identify the email and voice message origins.

Khurana is renowned for her roles in Punjabi cinema, including the film 'Sadda Haq', and for participating in the reality show 'Bigg Boss'. This case of intimidation echoes a similar complaint from last month, where singer Dilnoor reported threats directed towards B Praak.
