A Hollywood epic, ''The Revenant,'' starring Leonardo DiCaprio, is making a triumphant return to theaters globally on March 13. The film, which originally premiered in 2016 under the helm of director Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu, was announced via a captivating Instagram post by 20th Century Studios.

Set in the 1820s, the film follows Hugh Glass, portrayed by DiCaprio, as he embarks on a harrowing journey of survival and retribution against a backdrop of betrayal after suffering a bear attack and the killing of his son by John Fitzgerald (Tom Hardy).

''The Revenant'' not only made a mark at the box office with over USD 533 million in earnings but also secured 12 Academy Award nominations, with DiCaprio winning his first Oscar for Best Actor. Additionally, the film won accolades for Best Director and Best Cinematography. DiCaprio's recent work includes ''One Battle After Another,'' released in 2025.
