A Hollywood epic, ''The Revenant,'' starring Leonardo DiCaprio, is making a triumphant return to theaters globally on March 13. The film, which originally premiered in 2016 under the helm of director Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu, was announced via a captivating Instagram post by 20th Century Studios.

Set in the 1820s, the film follows Hugh Glass, portrayed by DiCaprio, as he embarks on a harrowing journey of survival and retribution against a backdrop of betrayal after suffering a bear attack and the killing of his son by John Fitzgerald (Tom Hardy).

''The Revenant'' not only made a mark at the box office with over USD 533 million in earnings but also secured 12 Academy Award nominations, with DiCaprio winning his first Oscar for Best Actor.
