Hindustan Zinc Ltd has partnered with Tata Steel to enhance the use of EcoZen, its low-carbon zinc solution, in steel production. Hindustan Zinc Ltd, a subsidiary of the Vedanta group, has announced a strategic partnership with Tata Steel to expand the application of its EcoZen low-carbon zinc in steel manufacturing.

This collaboration marks a significant step for both companies in weaving climate priorities into their core operations and sourcing strategies.

EcoZen boasts a carbon footprint of less than one tonne of CO₂ equivalent per tonne of zinc, drastically reducing emissions and supporting downstream industries in achieving decarbonisation targets.
