Uttar Pradesh Celebrates Hanuman Jayanti with Grand Festivities

Hanuman Jayanti celebrations in Uttar Pradesh saw thousands flocking to temples in cities like Lucknow and Varanasi. Devotees participated in special rituals and processions, with major events at Sankat Mochan Temple and Ram Mandir. The streets of Uttar Pradesh came alive as devotees celebrated Hanuman Jayanti with fervor on Thursday. In cities from Lucknow to Varanasi, worshippers thronged temples, engaging in rituals and festivities particularly marked by massive crowds.

In Varanasi, the iconic Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple initiated a 10-day festival with adornments, processions, and night-long devotional singing. The event highlights included a Ramayana conference and a significant flag procession organized by local devotees, showcasing participation from seven states.

The Ram Mandir in Ayodhya also witnessed thousands for the special occasion of Hanuman Janmotsav. With rituals guided by prominent figures, including Vinay Katiyar, extensive security measures were put in place to manage the massive influx of devotees. A series of flag-hoisting ceremonies continued at the temple premises, emphasizing the cultural significance of the event.
