An international non-profit organization, TechnoServe, has taken a monumental step in advancing public health with the introduction of Minar Fortified Wheat Flour from Sree Sai Roller Flour Mills Pvt. Ltd. Launched on Thursday, the event saw the presence of esteemed actress Shriya Saran, who spearheaded the brand's debut.
Expressing her enthusiasm, Shriya Saran emphasized the importance of the product, especially for women striving to ensure their families receive balanced nutrition. She noted how women seamlessly transition through various life roles, providing care and nourishment at each stage.
Abhishek Shukla, Country Manager for Millers for Nutrition in India, outlined the organization's expansive program across Asia and Africa. "Our mission spans eight countries, focusing on fortified staples such as edible oil, wheat flour, and rice," he said. Shukla elaborated on the collaboration with Sri Sai Roller Flour Mill, introducing 'Milan,' a brand enriched with essential micronutrients, aimed at tackling malnutrition with technical and on-ground support for millers.
