Tragedy at Goregaon Concert: The Deadly Toll of 'Party Drugs'

In a tragic turn of events, two MBA students lost their lives following an alleged drug overdose at a concert in the Goregaon area. Police revealed on Wednesday that their investigation has shed light on how the illegal ecstasy pills were distributed.
The police have arrested six individuals, including event organizers, and recorded statements from 12 people as part of their investigation. The deceased, a male and a female student from a city management institute, reportedly consumed the harmful substance at the Goregaon Exhibition Centre, resulting in their deaths shortly after the event.
An eyewitness from Santacruz recounted that he saw the young woman collapse during the event. Authorities have charged two students, a suspected drug supplier, and members of the event staff under culpable homicide, as inquiries into the distribution of these 'party drugs' continue.
