Actor Ben Stiller has expressed support for the first two films in the 'Meet the Parents' series while responding to fan expectations ahead of the franchise's fourth installment, 'Focker In-Law'. Stiller, known for his role as Greg Focker alongside Robert De Niro, commented following the release of the new film's trailer.

In response to a fan inquiry about the necessity of viewing earlier films to enjoy the latest release, Stiller stated, "No! But I stand by the first two." This fan interaction occurred on X, where another user expressed reluctance to watch previous films but interest in the latest, asking about missing critical plot points.

The film franchise includes the original 'Meet the Parents', succeeded by 'Meet the Fockers' and 'Little Fockers'. Stiller did not provide detailed commentary on the third film's shortcomings but mentioned an effort was made, saying, "We always try. Fully." The new movie features Ariana Grande as Olivia, with Skyler Gisondo as Greg's on-screen son, Henry.

Continuing the beloved comedy series, 'Focker In-Law' explores the dynamic within the Focker family as Henry plans a wedding with Olivia, inducing typical family tensions. Regulars Owen Wilson, Blythe Danner, and Teri Polo return to their roles in this latest installment, set for a November 25, 2026 release.
