Bollywood actor Riteish Deshmukh took to the streets of Latur for a roadshow, marking the success of ‘Raja Shivaji’. The film, which he directed and starred in, topped box office records for a Marathi film, earning Rs 12.40 crore nett domestically on its opening day.

Adding to the film's celebratory weekend, Deshmukh, joined by his wife Genelia, made a surprise visit to a PVR cinema in Latur, engaging excited fans. Deshmukh paid tribute to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj during the roadshow, connecting the film's historical narrative to his local roots.

Deshmukh urged audiences to embrace 'Raja Shivaji' as a communal tale of heritage. The film, which captures Shivaji Maharaj’s transformation into a revered leader, aims to reach audiences across language barriers.
