Anne Hathaway's Favorite Outfit Cut from 'The Devil Wears Prada 2'
Anne Hathaway revealed her favorite outfit from 'The Devil Wears Prada 2' was cut from the film. The ensemble, a Phoebe Philo T-shirt with a train, was missed by Hathaway after learning of its removal. Despite disappointment, she reflected positively on the film's evolution and the iconic original.
Actor Anne Hathaway, known for her role as Andy Sachs in 'The Devil Wears Prada,' revealed a personal disappointment regarding the sequel. Hathaway disclosed that her favorite outfit, a distinctive Phoebe Philo T-shirt ensemble, was excluded from the final cut of 'The Devil Wears Prada 2.'
In a conversation with People magazine, Hathaway detailed the ensemble's removal, recalling a direct conversation with director David Frankel. She described the outfit as "a garment, more than anything else," expressing her fondness for the piece, which was notably photographed during shooting in New York City in 2025.
Despite this omission, Hathaway reflected on the growth of both her character, now an award-winning journalist, and herself since the original film's 2006 release. On the press tour, she paid homage to the original by wearing the acclaimed green coat with cheetah-print trim, reinforcing the film's enduring style legacy.
