Odisha and UN Forge Path to Sustainability and Growth

Stefan Priesner, UN Resident Coordinator in India, met with Odisha's Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo to discuss collaboration in agriculture, tourism, and renewable energy. The discourse also highlighted Odisha's cultural richness, including UNESCO World Heritage Sites, pinpointing sustainable tourism as a vital growth area. Deputy Chief Minister Singh Deo reaffirmed the state’s dedication to doubling farmers' income and promoting climate-resilient farming techniques.
