A 27-year-old man, Harshvardhan Thakur, drowned in the Ganga River at Man Mandir Ghat, Greater Noida. The incident occurred while he was taking photographs on a boat with friends. Despite rescue efforts by the National Disaster Response Force, his body was recovered the following morning.

A 27-year-old man tragically drowned in the Ganga River at Man Mandir Ghat, Greater Noida, while taking photos with friends. Harshvardhan Thakur lost his balance and fell into the river's strong current around 1 am, police reported.
Efforts to locate him began immediately but were hampered by darkness. The National Disaster Response Force, in collaboration with the police, launched a search operation that resulted in recovering his body the following morning.
The body has been sent for post-mortem to ascertain further details, as confirmed by Vijay Kumar Shukla from the Dashashwamedh Police Station.
