The Maharashtra government has officially unveiled the logo for the 2027 Nashik-Trimbakeshwar Simhastha Kumbh Mela. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis presented the design in Mumbai, with Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Sunetra Pawar in attendance.

The logo selection was a result of a nationwide design competition organized by the Kumbh Mela Authority, MyGov, and the Association of Designers of India. The contest attracted 3,067 entries from across the country and even international submissions.

A panel of eminent judges, including Prasoon Joshi, selected the winning design. Sumit Kate secured the first prize, while Mayank Nayak and Piyush Pimpalnerkar took second and third place, respectively. The logo features symbols tied to the region's cultural and religious roots, such as Lord Shiva's trident.
