Mizoram CM Seeks YMA's Partnership for a Better Society
Mizoram Chief Minister Lalduhoma called on the Young Mizo Association (YMA) to team up with the government in fostering a peaceful, better society. Speaking at a conference, he praised YMA's role in culture preservation, anti-drug efforts, and announced new development projects, including a ginger USP project worth Rs 190 crore.

At a YMA conference in Mizoram's Khawzawl, Chief Minister Lalduhoma highlighted the association's pivotal contributions to societal welfare. He commended their anti-drug initiative, 'Ruihhlo Do,' amid rising substance abuse challenges.
Lalduhoma urged continued collaboration with the YMA to enhance social harmony and bolster Mizoram’s cultural values, which attract widespread tourist admiration.
He also announced significant projects, including a Rs 190 crore ginger initiative, emphasizing the region’s strong agricultural prospects. A processing unit will be established in Champhai with Rs 30.13 crore sanctioned by DoNER.
